Our organic Daily matcha is vibrant with fresh umami and vegetal flavors of buttery greens, creamy avocado and cocoa husk with a pleasant astringency and a lasting sweet finish. A masterful blend of two different cultivars, Yabukita and Yutaka midori, it is grown on a single-estate tea field in Kagoshima prefecture on Kyushu Island in southern Japan.
Excellent for drinking ceremonially with water only or as a matcha latte. Can also be used for baking.
Using a bamboo chasen whisk is ideal for making a smooth, clump-free matcha and forming a frothy texture.

Store airtight in a cool, dark location. Use within 3-4 weeks after opening for peak freshness. Can be kept up to one year in a refrigerator.

Compared to the other matcha "house ", it has a slightly bitter taste, but nothing overwhelming. It also has umami, so the bitterness and sweetness of umami are well-balanced. I enjoy drinking it plain or as a latte. I use oatmilk from oatly (something I drink every day), both Matcha and oatmilk have a rich taste, so you end up with a very rich and refreshing drink.
